West Humboldt Park Farmer’s Market & Bazaar is back for the 3^rd year! This is a project hosted by the WHP Healthy Community Initiative Committee (HCIC). Please join us on Saturday June 2^nd from 9:00am until 3:00pm at 3601 West Chicago Avenue in the Neighborhood Housing Services (NHS) parking lot. The Fresh Moves Bus will provide fresh produce at the Market and will accept cash, debit, credit card, and link as forms of payment. Also, Northwestern Medicine, Near North Health Services Corporation, and Walgreens will join our prior partnerships and provide health screening and conduct healthy cooking demonstrations. June 2^nd will be our only Market this year at NHS but The City of Chicago and Mt. Ebenezer M. B. Church will begin operating a Farmer’s Market one block south of 3555 West Huron.

NHS is hosting NeighborWorks Day, a Housing Resource Fair, which will also take place during the West Humboldt Park Farmer’s Market! Please attend the event and receive a mortgage check-up, homeowner insurance rate check-up, property tax credit check-up, and learn about their home improvement programs. There will also be entertainment, merchandise vendors, free giveaways, activities, and more!
