Nine physicians at Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center (SMEMC) were among more than 250 area physicians recognized as “top doctors for women” in the January 2011 issue of Chicago magazine.

Castle Connolly Medical Limited, a health care research and information company, developed the list published in Chicago. A team surveyed doctors and hospital medical leaders about “highly skilled exceptional doctors” and then screened doctors before final selection, according to the Chicago article.
