The Humboldt Park New Communities Program is pleased to announce its latest funding opportunity for obesity-prevention programs in Humboldt Park. This is the second year of funding made possible by the MacArthur Foundation, LISC/Chicago, and Bickerdike Redevelopment Corporation to support obesity prevention efforts throughout the community.

An application for the Humboldt Park Healthy Corridors initiative can be found here. A copy of the complete Humboldt Park Healthy Corridors Plan should be reviewed prior to submission. Proposals will be due Friday, May 24. Funds are limited, and awards will be made for projects that show the highest chance to produce outcomes consistent with the Humboldt Park Healthy Corridors Plan.
