Work$Ready Online Job Readiness Training Program – Open Enrollment

WHAT IS WORK$READY?
Work$Ready is a free, online job readiness training created in response to the unprecedented need to help job seekers reenter the workforce. Classes are taught by experienced workforce instructors via Zoom, a video–conferencing tool. The curriculum includes key topics such as professional presence, resume writing and interview practice as well as soft skills needed to land and keep a job.
TRAINING DETAILS:
- The next training cohort starts on August 31st. The date listed is for an online informational session where those that are interested may ask questions and begin the enrollment process, all via zoom.
- Live video training is provided 3 days a week, for 3 weeks. Classes are 2 hours each.
- Participants will complete weekly assignments and receive 1-on-1 coaching from instructors.
- Participants will need access to a computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone with internet connectivity and webcam.
- Technology-related skills, like webcam interviews and online applications, will be emphasized to assist participants in their employment search.
