Come join us to celebrate a night of Poetry, Culture and Music at the Humboldt Park Boathouse, May 30, at 7 pm.  Poet, writer, and filmmaker, Carlos Jimenez Flores, will be co-hosting the event with the Puerto Rican Cultural Center. Additionally, other talented local poets will be delighting the audience with their work and performance, among them: Lisa Cruz, Hiram Morales, Javier Valentin, Charlie Serrano and Nadya Henriquez.

There will be live music by writer and composer, Victoria Rojas, an amazing young woman with a unique voice and style.  Similarly, former World Champion Boxer, Luis Mateo, will be entertaining us with a bachata performance to bring Latin flavor to the event.
