March 29, 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Join us to discuss COVID-19’s disproportionate impact on Latinx and Black communities and to learn the science behind the COVID-19 vaccines. We will discuss updates on the virus, the need for fairness in vaccine distribution, and frequently asked questions.

This session will be led by Dr. Dana Vais, the Medical Director of Infectious Disease Services at AMITA Health Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center Chicago.

Following the presentation, we will have a Q&A with our public health experts about the COVID-19 vaccine.

This program is hosted by AMITA Health, Chicago Public Library, and West Side United.

***All participants will get a free book on the topic***
