This month’s book discussion will feature The Expatriates by Janice Y. K. Lee.

Three American women living in the same expat community in Hong Kong have very different lives. Mercy, a young Korean-American has recently graduated and is recovering from a recent traumatic incident. Hilary, a lonely housewife is trying to save her marriage. Finally Margaret, once married with three children is now trying to escape the hardships of life after tragic loss. Their lives intertwine as Lee explores emotions, relationships, and the identities of these three women.
