Summer PlayStreets Events & Block Club Parties in West Humboldt Park

The West Humboldt Park Development Council organized three PlayStreets events in partnership with Gads Hill Center and Block Club Network members for the West Humboldt Park community during the summer of 2014. Also, over the course of the summer, over 40 block club parties took place in WHP.


West Humboldt Park Development Council Revealing of Banners on Chicago Avenue

The West Humboldt Park Special Service Area #63 (SSA), in partnership with Neighborhood Housing Services and the West Humboldt Park Development Council (WHPDC) installed 44 banners along Chicago Avenue on September 26, 2014. After the banners were installed, a ceremony took place at Kells Park to celebrate the Commercial Corridor Revitalization Project.
