The exotic sight and sound of Javanese gamelan
This performance features the exotic sight and sound of Javanese gamelan. Friends of the Gamelan, a community-based performing arts and education group, performs on ornate, uniquely tuned metallophones, xylophone, hanging and pot gongs, two-string fiddle, and zither, rounded out by drums and singers. The music is both relaxing and enjoyable.
