This year is the 26th Fiesta Boricua “De Bandera a Bandera”, a celebration of Humboldt Park’s Puerto Rican identity and patriotism. During the Fiestas, thousands of people gather during Labor Day Weekend, in what is known to be the biggest Puerto Rican Festival of the Midwest. This event was founded to allow Puerto Rican families to reassure their patriotism and cultural roots. Every year, a different town from Puerto Rico is invited to join us in the celebration.
