McFun for Lowell School at the Humbolt Park McDonald's

Lowell School held their annual McTeacher's Night Fundraiser at the Chicago McDonald's on North Ave.  A McTeacher's Night is organized to help raise money for local schools by having teachers work at McDonald's and then giving a percentage of the night's sales back to the local school.

On Thursday, the restaurant was taken over by teachers excited to serve freshly prepared meals to students and their families.  Teachers also took orders, cleaned, sold pies, served drinks and even dressed up in a Pie costume.

Mr. Mitter worked hard all night selling pies for donations.  The Lowell Drumline also performed to a standing room only crowd!

A special thank you goes to Carmen Rivera-Kurban who organized the event as well as everyone who worked or attended.

The McTeacher's Night was courtesy of the Chicago McDonald's Owner/Operators John and Carmen DeCarrier.
