Moos Elementary Annual McTeacher’s Night at Western Ave. McDonald’s
Moos School held their annual McTeacher’s Night Fundraiser at the Chicago McDonald’s on Western Ave. A McTeacher’s Night is organized to help raise money for local schools by having teachers work at McDonald’s and then giving a percentage of the night’s sales back to the local school. What an amazing night for Moos Elementary School.
On Wednesday, March 21st, the restaurant was taken over by Moos teachers and Principal Karime and Assistant Principal Digiulio excited to serve freshly prepared meals to students and their families. Teachers handed out orders, made ice cream treats, served drinks, dressed in a pie box, and sang for tips.
The funds earned from the entire night will go towards expenses for the 8th Grade trip to Springfield.
A special thank you goes to Zaira Lopez, who organized the event as well as the twenty-four teachers who worked and attended. Jasmine Chmielarz, Emily Rojo, and Ms. Moss were some of the teachers that dressed up in the pie box. Many of the Moos students had a blast taking pictures with these fun Moos teachers. Ms. Lappe, Miss Conway, and many of the 8th graders helped sell the pies. It was a fabulous night for the entire Moos community.
