La Casa Norte is officially recruiting volunteers for our new client-choice food pantry, the Fresh Market, an initiative of our Nutrition Center! Join a team committed to combating food insecurity in Humboldt Park, with shifts available every Monday morning and afternoon starting March 18! Roles available for those who like to engage with clients and those who want to work behind the scenes. Specific opportunities available for Spanish speakers and nutrition educators! The Fresh Market is operated in partnership with Lakeview Pantry, so volunteers will be eligible to volunteer at any of Lakeview Pantry’s locations and La Casa Norte’s Nutrition Center after attending an orientation.
