Meida McNeal, Arts and Culture Manager of the Chicago Park District will lead a conversation among artists and community members that are part of Re:Center, an initiative that unites artists and communities to reimagine cultural priorities. You’ll hear from artist Haman Cross & cultural liaison Latham Zearfoss about the unique mini-golf project and other community led cultural programming work at Douglas Park, TRACE program manager Marcus Davis about teen arts & civic action work out of Austin and Englewood parks, and Arts Partner in Residence manager Nikki Jolly about the parks’ unique residency models for local artists.
