Chicago Youth Centers (CYC) Centro Nuestro was the first CYC center created specifically to address the needs of the Latino community, opening with a tutoring program in a church in Humboldt Park in 1979. Now for more than 35 years, it has served as many as 130 children a year. Centro Nuestro and George E. Taylor Child Development Center offer the following age-specific programs.
