Housing, like health care and education, is critical for family and community success. Healthy communities need safe, decent, affordable housing so that residents can hold jobs, pursue schooling, raise families, and live stable lives.

The Chicago Rehab Network (CRN) is a citywide coalition of neighborhood and community based development organizations founded in 1977 by community groups seeking to pool expertise and share information. The coalition membership consists of over 40 housing organizations representing over 60 city neighborhoods.
For 30 years, the Chicago Rehab Network (CRN) has worked to further the development and preservation of safe affordable housing in Chicago, and throughout the state of Illinois. CRN builds capacity of community developers through training and technical assistance, conducts research to measure needs and clarify challenges to affordable housing development, and advocates for sound housing policy on the city, state and federal level.
